- Description: Compositech Ltd. develops and markets superior copper-clad fiberglass epoxy laminates used to make printed circuit boards required by the electronics industry. The primary innovation of Compositech was to replace the fiberglass cloth component of the laminate with a more modern and structurally efficient fiberglass core resulting from a uniform, orthogonally layered construction. Based on its own benchmark testing and evaluations by customers and other potential users, the Company believes that it has succeeded in developing a laminate that is superior to competitive copper-clad fiberglass epoxy laminates. On July 11, 2001, the Company filed a voluntary Chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. In November 2002, the Company announced that its bankruptcy proceeding was dismissed. The Company has ceased operations and any remaining assets will be surrendered to secured creditors.
