    • Description: History of the "Tajik Air" airline dates back to 1930. In May 1930, the Tajik air hub of the Central Asian air routes was founded, and two YU-13 aircrafts with crews arrived in Stalinabad for permanent basing and started operation of regular flights from Stalinabad to Khujand, Kulyab, Garm, Dangara and Pyanj. One year later, upon arrival of the P-5 and R-5 aircrafts they started flights to Shaartuz and Khorog. In March 1933, twenty five Po-2 aircrafts arrived in Stalinabad, and in June the first all-metal aircraft "Stal-2" arrived. Then, the air routes Stalinabad-Farkhor, Stalinabad-Garm-Hait-Tojikobod-Jirgital, Stalinabad-Hovaling were opened. In 1935 the ANT-9, SP-9, P-5 aircraft arrived in Stalinabad, and after the new aircrafts were obtained, the following air routes were opened: Stalinabad-Muminobad, Stalinabad-Voroshilovabad. In 1940 the Tajik Department for Civil Air Fleet was founded, which subsequently experienced a number of reorganizations: the Tajik Civil Aviation Authority, the State Air Company "Tojikiston", the SUAE "Tojikiston", the SUAE "Tajik Air". From the 30th of December 2009, by Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan â„–707, the Airline was reorganized into the OJSC "Tajik Air"
